We Start with a Phone Call

If you’re worried that your alcohol or drug use is getting out of control—or that your loved one needs help with addiction—please call to speak with one of our knowledgeable specialists. We will help you figure things out. Finding answers, help and support for addiction and mental health begins with a free and confidential conversation with one of our admissions specialists.

Your initial conversation will help to determine possible next steps. Perhaps a more thorough substance use or mental health assessment is needed. If that’s the case, we will schedule the appropriate assessment with an agape Village clinician or make a referral for other treatment services or mental health care in your area.

The substance use and/or mental health assessment is designed to gather more detailed information about your health history and symptoms. This information gives us insight in determining whether residential or outpatient addiction treatment might be needed, and which specific services and approaches would best meet your clinical needs. With your permission and signed consent, contact might be made with other medical and mental health professionals with whom you’ve worked in order to better understand the entirety of your needs. The same goes for family members who can help provide context and background for your personal circumstances.*

*We will not speak with anyone you have not expressly given us permission to communicate with.

Insurance Information

we will help you decipher your insurance information. If treatment is recommended, you will be assigned a financial advocate who will work with you and your insurance company to maximize your benefits. Agape Village is an in-network provider with most major insurance companies, with the exception of Medicare and Medicaid. Your financial advocate will explain how your benefits apply and what your personal costs are.

Start Treatment

If it’s determined that you could benefit from addiction treatment, your Agape Village intake specialist will work with you to schedule an admissions date.

An intake specialist will meet with you to cover the necessary paperwork. Once the intake paperwork is completed, our staff will tour you around the facility and help you get settled. You may spend your first night in our medical detox unit, where medical staff make sure you’re comfortable and medically stable. Then you will join your peers in a residential treatment unit and, over the next few days, meet with a team of licensed professionals and medical staff who will design your individualized treatment plan.

The Complete Admissions Process

This is our stress free streamlined process  for you and your loved one when they are ready to take the journey into recovery.
Here is what happens when you call.

You’ll speak with a trained admissions coordinator for an initial pre-enrollment conversation to help you determine what your next steps could be. We’ll also verify insurance coverage, discuss payment options, and answer any questions you have so you can take those next steps with confidence.

During this call, new patients will participate in a pre-assessment evaluation for clinical approval and medical approval to ensure we’re the best possible fit for your needs. If so, we’ll schedule a time slot for a detailed follow-up evaluation.

At this time, we will obtain a more comprehensive picture of substance use and co-occurring disorders. This will include a full mental health assessment, medical history, family history, nutritional deficiencies, a social evaluation, and a discussion about your treatment goals. Expect this call to last approximately 30 to 60 minutes.

Our goal is to always offer the lowest possible barrier to treatment over the fastest-possible timeline. Each new patient will be assigned an arrival or pick-up date for check-in at our facility.

Once you’re here, we’ll warmly welcome you to our immaculate home-like facility that’s overflowing with plant life and compassion. You’ll be given a personal orientation where we’ll tour the facility, review what is and is not permitted, cover expectations, and discuss schedules for treatment.

Based on your detailed evaluation, we will develop an individualized treatment plan that meets your needs. It’s time to take the next step toward a healthier you! And we’ll be with you at every step through therapy and treatment as you pursue recovery.

Our facility is staffed 24/7 by our nursing and clinical teams offering round-the-clock care. If you’re staying on our medical detox floor or the medically managed care floor, you will also have regular access to a physician as part of your treatment plan.
